Gabriel Esterelles

Gabriel Esterelles holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Public Finance from the National University of La Plata, specializing in public finance and budget.
He served as Undersecretary of Finance of the Province of Buenos Aires, district in which he assumed different responsibilities since 1997, with expertise in formulation, monitoring, and evaluation of the public budget: Provincial Director of Budget, and Director of Budgetary Evaluation, among others. As of April 2020, he held the position of Finance and Accounting Manager of the Garrahan Hospital, responsible for the formulation and execution of its budget.

In the private sector, he was a consultant specialized in finance, and lecturer in specialized courses on budgeting at the Argentine Association of Budget and Public Financial Administration (ASAP), the National Institute of Public Administration (INAP) and the School of Government of the Austral University. He has participated as speaker in congresses on budgetary matters and has been a member of the Forum of Budget Directors.

He is also a professor of Public Finance and Introduction to Economics at the Provincial University of the Southwest and the National Technological University, respectively.
